For my Communication for Business Effectiveness course during my final year of undergrad, I was assigned to work with a group to select a company and an executive problem they may be facing. We were then required to form a data story, structured based off of the book “DataStory: Explain Data and Inspire Action Through Story” by Nancy Duarte, and present our findings and recommendations as if we were speaking to the executives of the selected company. My group and I chose to do our project on Peloton and their dilemma of declining equipment sales and increase in excess inventory. We compiled data for our recommendations in our slide document and presented our data story through our slide deck.
